How to work with MFA authentication?

For ALSO IoT Platform

To complete the MFA process, go to the sign in of our ALSO IoT Platform and complete the following steps: 

• When on Sign in page of the ALSO IoT Platform, you will provide username and password 
• You'll download the authenticator app of your choice (from Google Play Store and App Store)
• Then, you'll receive a verification code on an authenticator app
• Once you enter that code into Maker site, you’ll be signed in and have full access to your IoT data

Note:

In case you have a new mobile phone and you need to get the "initial QR Code", you can do like that:

- If you are still logged in the ALSO IoT Platform, please log out.

- When you are already logged out, try to log in as you would usually do, with username and password.

- Then you will receive a message asking you to enter the Code from the Multi factor Authentication (code that you don't have, because it is a new phone). In the same screen you will see a message telling you "Restart Multi-Factor Authentication", follow the steps there and that is all !

For Makers

To complete the MFA process, go to the sign in of our Maker IoT Platform and complete the following steps: 

• When on Sign in page of the Maker IoT Platform, you will provide username and password 
• You'll download the authenticator app of your choice (from Google Play Store and App Store)
• Then, you'll receive a verification code on an authenticator app
• Once you enter that code into Maker site, you’ll be signed in and have full access to your IoT data
